Grab-and-go remains a viable option at Harborplace, but the newly renovated food court is by no means the only choice. If a sit-down lunch or dinner is on your shopping list, M&S Grill will place heaping plates of old-fashioned favorites in front of you -- and dare you to rush through them to get back to sightseeing or contributing to Charm City's economy. If the name sounds familiar, it's with good reason -- M&S Grill is the comfort-food cousin of high-end McCormick & Schmick's over on Pier 5. M&S offers just the right blend of fun and fine dining so that families with children won't feel like fish out of water. Haystack onion rings, Buffalo chicken tenders and popcorn rock shrimp are perfect meal-starters, as are hearty soups (Maryland crab, French onion and cream of chicken) and bountiful salads (Cobb, blackened prime rib and grilled chicken Caesar). Sandwiches -- including burgers, French dip and pulled pork barbecue -- are best held in both hands. Entrees are split between hearty fare and comfort food, which means you'll have to choose between traditional choices like pot roast, meat loaf and pork chops, and steaks, swordfish, stuffed salmon and blackened chicken linguini. -- Pete Kerzel
