Meat-and-potatoes gets a make-over at Michael's where the seafood might be the real beef. In other words, their crab sandwich is almost perfect. Perfectly fried then placed between two delicious hot pieces of bread, crunching into this delicacy is to experience the Chesapeake Bay in one bite. They do other things equally well. The crab soup is a deluge of Old Bay seasoning as pungent as it is pleasurable. The New York strip will have you hallucinating that you've been transported to Delmonico's on the island of Manhattan when you sample the combo of tenderness and taste. The rather long list of cheese cakes, which aren't made on premises, are adequate, but after the rich meals that precede them, can be avoided with no great loss.
