It wasn't Bad
By juliannesmurphy on 08/09/2007
We visit all the Indian restaurants in the area, my husband is a chef, and we like Indian food in particular. This one was ok. The food was not bad, the service was good and the people were nice. I have had better indian food in the area in two places, one in Laurel called India Gate and one in Timonuim called India Palace. This restaurant may seem fantastic, but if you go to the others I mentioned you'll see why I think it is just "good"

Update

This restaurant is now open again (re-opened on 11/15/04) and it has been completely renovated! If you are looking for a great atmosphere, incredibly delicious food, soothing music, I recommend that you must try Indian Delight! www.TajRestaurant.com

Wonderful...and open again!
By joncephine on 12/23/2004
Indian Delight reopened as of November 15th! This marvelous culinary jewel buried among sports bars, chain restaurants, and carryouts gives the residents of Catonsville and West Hills a fantastic Indian dining option without going downtown or to Columbia. I have been to many different Indian restaurants in the metropolitan area, and I have to count Indian delight as my favorite. Try the Dhaniwal Korma for a surprising treat. Both the Chicken Makhani and the Chana Masala are buttery and spiced well. And the Lamb Pasanda is almost as tempting as the Dhaniwal Korma! And for me, that's saying something. Start off with a Masala Dosa or a Vegetable Samosa and polish off your neal with a Garlic Naan and see if you can only go just once! We're on our way to try out their lunch buffet for the first time right now!

We love eating at this family run restaurant! Always friendly, prompt service. Try the vegetable samosas! Unfortunately, they are temporarily closed due to a fire. Can't wait until they reopen!
