My family and I have been visiting the aquarium since I was a small child, my prom was there, and I still go there frequently. I think the no stroller rule, even if it is a pain, is for the best. The aquarium doesn't control it. My family has never had a problem there with small children. I think it is rediculous that people would put down one of the most active attractions in our city. No matter where you go, there is gonna be something that isn't the way you like it. So instead of concentrating on that, concentrate on the time you are enjoying with your family, and the memories your making with your children.

Disapointed

My Husband was excited to visst the Aquarium since he last visited when he was a boy and wanted to share the excitment with his children. We visited the Aquarium with our family (aka 3 yr old, 1 yr old) and was extreamely disappointed at the no stroller rule. Why isn't this rule plastered right next to the hours and cost on the web-site? I checked the site to get costs and hours and arrived early but was disappointed to say the least. While the "stroller check" is a good idea (obviously they know it is a need by mearly having it) what about all of the "gear" children/infants need. Why not have a locker to put all of hte diaper bags so parents are not only lugging children but the bags as well. Caring a 20 lb child on your back, keeping track of your three year old and lugging a daiper bag make for less than fun time and while my child may have enjoyed it, it was not worth the cost at 19.50 for one adut and 13.5 for a child. PErhaps the Aquarium needs to reevaluate their clientelle and try and better meet their needs.
