Main Tavern   

The feel and flavor of a bar where about anybody can go and fit in. Our customer ages range from 21 to women and men in there 80's. Plenty to do; dance floor, pool, air hockey, video games and 42 " plasma TV for sports. We take pride in our staff that has helped us serve the public for 55 years. We are the oldest family run business on Main St. in Bangor.

I enjoy going to the Tavern. All my friends from Stacey's ended up there. I go alone and leave alone, and never have to worry about being accosted. Peter is a great guy and all the staff are very friendly, especially Cindy.

This place has a easy going attidude. You can fit in no matter what type of person you are. Very down to earth place. And very good drinks, and easy going staff!
