Drusilla Seafood Restaurant   

ive gone there most of my life.. the last time was about 6 months ago and they seated us in the dinning area. the seats had rips in them and the table wobbled. It looked as if they have not changed anything in years..lol.. i asked if we could be seated in the bar area as it was much nicer. The food has and always will be good.... but come on... there are so many nicer places to go eat seafood in baton rouge.

I eat there once a month for a business meeting. If they would update the look and dust a little, that would be nice. The food is par. Nothing to exciting. There are alot of better seafood places in town. As far as pricing, for what you get, yesit is a little high.

This place has gone downhill... bigtime! I remember back when it was the best seafood restaurant in town. The people who own it now, have ran it into the ground. An accidental trip into the kitchen, which included a peak in the walk-in refrigerator, was extremely disturbing! The scene of a filthy workplace was the sole cause of my nausea that evenling. Shame on the Department of Health for not having this place shut down and forcibly scrubbed and sanitized!

All I can say is Jimmy Zito must have paid a lot to have his restaurant listed as a good seafood restaurant. It is by far the worst seafood in Baton Rouge. It's dirty, uses sub-par fish and other seafood, and often comes out of the kitchen looking like slop. I will never ever go there again. NOW, if you want to talk about good seafood.....Bonefish Grill, Parrain's, Juban's, Cheesecake Bistro, Lagniappe, Ruffino's, Galatoire's and probably several more I can't think of right now, all have excellent seafood dishes. Since this Rating & Review page only lets you go as low as one star I had to mark it, but in reality it doesn't even deserve one star.
