AN EPICUREAN DELIGHT
By ibgravy on 11/27/2003
THE CAPIATL CITY'S BEST KEPT SECRET AND ONLY RESTAURANT SERVING TRUELY CLASSICAL FRENCH CUISINE. A MUST FOR THE UNIQUE DINING EXPERIENCE. A LITTLE SPENDY, BUT WELL WORTH IT. THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD IS THAT YOU'LL FIND IN ANY OF THE FINEST RESTAURANTS IN THIS COUNTRY OR ABROAD!

The best in the south.

The food is wonderful. The house wines are excellent. The service is professional. One tiny drawback is a slight musty smell when you walk in. It is a very old house. I've been going for years and I'm kinda sad to see it listed. I wanted to keep the secret for myself. Oh well, enjoy!

Something Different
By musicbox5678 on 02/11/2007
If you are looking to impress someone or like me...... you love to find something different that makes going out to eat worthwhile... you need to try this place. This little place looks so common and has been hidden away for so many years you almost have to ask yourself why. The food is wonderful and the the service is always excellant. I have never taken anyone there that has not come away impressed with the place and what they ate. Lunch is always less costly and you will not pay anymore for dinner here than you will at the other nice local places. For those of us who do get to travel the country and try new places you will come away from here with a smile and knowing what those of us that eat here know ...It's just so hard to descibe the place and do it justice ... you just don't even try. And again if you want a great meal and or to impress someone while not having to dress up in a suit and tie ..( while that ok too) ....try this place...you'll be back. It's also a wonderful place to take out of towners that want to eat real French cooking. The hot french bread and butter and salad alone is worth going for. You will be able to tell right away by the starched white table cloths and the snappy dressed wait staff that you are in for a exciting time and really great meal.

Over-priced, under-serviced
By pattijaneh on 02/18/2007
Have been to this restaurant at least a dozen times over the years. (Business lunches primarily; not my choice.) Food is good one day; poorly prepared the next. Service exceedingly spotty. One day we stood in the doorway for ten minutes before someone in our party went into the kitchen to find Jacqueline to seat us. Water glasses sit empty. Have had cold food. Would never recommend. I don't pay $100 to be highly aggravated. Can get it for free at work.
