In ShortBuilt in 1936, this place is as much a landmark as it is one of the city's best restaurants. Diners flock here for hearty, home-style meals served in an upscale cabin-like setting. A giant Ponderosa pine grows through the roof, and the patio, overlooking Mirror Pond, is perfect for dining under the stars. The tavern is famous for its donut-like scones, as well as its succulent flat-iron steak and sesame-ginger chicken noodle bowls.
