Perhaps the region's most historical rock 'n' roll joint, Eclipse was transformed from a 19th century industrial building into an indestructible club. This slice of Niagara County was a gristmill until the 1890s, when it became Lockport's City Hall. Today, this building, located alongside Erie Canal, grooves as a nightclub, milling out live music gigs and theme nights. Eclipse is divided into several distinct rooms for drinking, gaming and listening to live music. The barroom is comfortably dim and stocked with your favorite thirst-quenchers, while the game area is brighter and fully loaded -- great for playing pool, pinball and air hockey. Every day of the week, Eclipse hosts a variety of special events, from Grateful Dead nights to acoustic jams. You'll also find alternative and cover bands hitting the stage, an essential part of the club's mission to "bring downtown to the north towns."
