Fish Market Restaurant   

I consider the restaurant southside Birmingham to be better than the one on On Montgomery Highway . I've found the portions better, the fish is cooked well but not burnt, at the Southside location. The staff listens to my request for light Greek seasoning on some of the fish they serve. I have ask for that seasoning on my fish at the Montgomery Hwy Restaurant but several times I ate there the cooks were very heavy on the seasoning, when I ask for light. I have ate at the Mongomery Highway before when the fish was overcooked . My husband refuses to go anyplace but to the original Southside Birmingham resturant.. We have never been served a bad meal there and have ate there for over 20 years.....back to the time when it was called "The Alabama Seafood Restaurant". We live closer to the Montgomery Hwy location but go to the Dowtown location. I've never eaten at the Hwy 280 location.

I'd pay attention to customer complaints , if I were the staff! My husband and I took our family to the Southside location a little over a month ago. We often frequent all Fish Market locations, but never again! I can do much better at this in my own Kitchen, and the service and quality of food is a much better experience than the last visit we experienced at this restaurant! We ordered our food, and recieved nothing that resembled what we ordered. George Sarris better wake up and smell the coffee, before it's too late. Customer Satisfaction is the most imporatnt issue here, if he wants repeat business. We addressed the issue with the kitchen management with unsatisafatory results, at the time of the dining experience and were treated like they could have cared less. Bad approach ! There are many other wonderful seafood restaurants in the greater Birmingham area. I've never had such a terrible experience with a family night out, more importantly, if I did, it was rectified by the business....that even goes for a TACO Bell or Long John Silvers! Pretty sad.

IM NOT MEXICAN AND I CAN COOK BETTER THAT THAT GEE AND THE PRICES ARE CRAZY... SAL TACO HOUSE MAKES BETTER FOOD THAN THAT AND THE SERVICE WAS NOT SO GOOD IT SAID ON AOL IT WAS THE BEST ...NOT I WAS SO SHOCK WHEN I TOOK MY HONEY IN FOR THE FIRST TIME SHE WAS NOT HAPPY...SHE SAID YOU COOK BETTER THAN THIS AND YOUR NOT MEXICAN (SMILE).SO I THINK IM NOT GOING BACK...DO YOUR PEOPLE SMILE AT ALL IN THAT RETAURANT WHAT GIVES ....CLEAN UP YOUR ACT EMMA'S

You can get almost any type seafood here prepared the way you like it. Also a great value for your money.
