I agree, the noise level is almost unacceptable. Can't hear the person across the table. The building is rich with history, from an old service station, to a local beer joint. The old "Upside down Plaza". Today It's a very pricey restaurant and very hard to get reservations. I have tried for 3 weekends to get a reservation. I'm not eating dinner at 10:00 PM..

Recently had 4 couples, part of monthly dinner outing...meet for meal at HH. Food was good, not great. Place was cold. and aside from all that the waiter refused to break down the check for the four couples....but of course did not refuse to take the 18% gratuity for large group. To boot the check was so confusing that we could not individually and quickly do ourselves. I finally, in frustration, gave him my Amex and we kinda figured out who owed what later........I do not consider this service worthy of a return visit. BTW the check was in excess of $350! They go their money but "word of mouth" will cost them a lot more in long run. Too bad.

Too loud to hear the waiter, the food was mediocre and the service was pretentious. What a disappointment!

The food here is excellent. I have never been disappointed. There is more than seafood here to salivate over. Be sure to call well in advance (days, sometimes weeks for weekends and months for holidays & special occasions, such as Valentines Day.
