Calling the house specialty the Lunkers Big Fish Sandwich is kind of redundant, considering that lunker is a term that describes a big fish. But one glance at that slab from the sea will justify the name. A cod fillet the size of a thick tile is battered and then deep-fried. Spray some malt vinegar and salt on it, and you're good to go, but save some room for the hush puppy-like Sweet Corn Nuggets, which can be dipped in the accompanying maple syrup. The Lunker is just one of several sandwiches on the menu, along with burgers and soup, chili, or beef stew served in a sourdough bread bowl.
