Make no mistake about it, Gamekeeper Restaurant & Lounge takes itself pretty seriously. This pricey (but worth it) upscale eatery is home to some of the best flambeed meats and flaming desserts ever to grace a dinner plate. Brass chandeliers and wildlife watercolor paintings offer an elegant backdrop in which to enjoy sublime cuisine, such as duck a l'orange, Madagascar New York pepper steak and seafood fettuccine. Unusual appetizers such as scallops amaretto and porcini mushrooms in a sweet sauce of cream and amaretto liqueur help decorate an interesting dining experience. Don't miss the cherries jubilee for dessert. The Gamekeeper is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and for dinner on Saturdays.

I have always found the food and the service at the Gamekeeper to be Excellent.

Birthdays, Anniversaries, its always excellent. Best food and service in the Boise area. Presentation and quality is always top rate.

Best restaurant in the Boise area!!! Fantastic dishes such as Rocky Mountain Elk, Chateu Briand, Maple Roasted Salmon, Rack of Lamb...Caesar Salad prepared in front of you at your table...Yum....Not to mention those delicious cocktails from the GameKeeper Lounge....And on Friday and Saturday nights, live Jazz Entertainment from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., what more could you ask for? FYI...The Gzmekeeper is no longer open for lunch...their hours are Mon. - Sat. 5:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
