This casual and friendly Idaho eatery takes pride in its rib eye steaks, finger steaks and pork chop sandwiches. The down-to-earth atmosphere in Lindy's Steak House is basic and simple, so nobody will forget what they came for -- the food. The main dining room, adorned with copious hanging plants and wood trim, will make diners feel like they're eating at the home of a long- lost friend. Menu items include shrimp and unseasoned Nebraska beef, pork ribs and a roasted chicken sandwich with fries. However, most will tell you the carbs are better served up in the form of Lindy's mashed potatoes and gravy, starches sure to stick to your ribs. Regulars say that's what keeps them coming back. Lindy's is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and for lunch and dinner on Saturdays.

LOVE THE WHOLE PLACE

I have been going to Lindy's for........10 years! It use to be on Ustick and 5-Mile...The food is wonderful, the staff friendly and the enviroment very warm. Anyone who has not been there and met Tom and Linda are really missing out. Keep up the good work...As for the people who complain about the price.....Go get a steak at Golden Corral!

Hooked on pork chop sandwich.

I have been hooked on, Lindy's pork chop sandwich for many years. I live in Nampa now. But I stop by for a take-out of this delicious sandwich every time I am in, Boise. I have also introduced it to several friends. They also love it. Everyone should also know that Lindy's is one of the cleanest establishments I have ever been in.

OVER PRICED

THE SERVER WAS GREAT THE FOOD ON THE OTHER HAND I THOUGHT IT WAS WAY OVER PRICED. IF YOU CHARGE $ 24.00 FOR A 14OZ SOCALLED RIBEYE IT BETTER BE GREAT.
