Seriously over priced

I couldn't find anything on the menu that looked appealing and I don't like the way they cook their meat. It's nice that the chef tries to provide eclectic offerings, but they are not for my taste. The hostess was also very rude to my father when he asked them to turn the music down. She almost told him that it "wasn't for people his age" but then thought better of it. West Side Lounge is for the affleunt Harvard student and definitley has a snotty atmosphere.

really delicious food. love the olives as a start. But a highlight is also the people who work there, owners and staff are all incredibly wonderful and help to make the whole experience even better.

Boston Magazine named this the best "gourmet bar food" in the area and we had to try. Absolutely wonderful. Steaks, fish, veggies, pasta were all quite good. New chef (who came out and chatted with diners throughout the night and clearly *cares* about food) in does fresh, delicious dishes and there's now a pastry chef who does equally delicious takes on the standards (chocolate cake, creme brulee, etc). And the funny, helpful staff and bartender (had the best martini!) are recommended.
