Dick Doherty's is a long-running comedy tradition for many in the Boston area. From up-and-coming comedians to local comedic heroes to national stars, Dick's has always featured top-notch talent. A handful of clubs feature Doherty's comedians on the weekends, and Remington's Restaurant is a terrific place for some weekend laughs. Remington's sits on Boylston Street close to the Public Gardens and its brick facade is adjacent to a large wrought-iron archway that leads into a small brick courtyard. It has a traditional Bostonian look with lots of dark wood and a tavern-like atmosphere, with the added perk of offering the stand-up stylings of such greats as Steve Sweeney, Kevin Knox, DJ Hazard and, of course, Dick Doherty himself.
