Well, Red Sky is a bright hope on the horizon of North Street. While its neighboring bars wave their arms in an effort to please every tourist, tenderfoot or townie or who might pass by, Red Sky lets the bar do the talking. Glowing red walls and tall, luxurious lounge chairs beckon you inside for a taste of a different crowd: one that's not afraid to drink the way they dress, which is to say, lavishly. Boasting a wine list that traipses from Australia to Germany, appetizers like shrimp pizza and entrees of squash ravioli or a fist-sized porkchop, at first you're not sure whether to eat or drink. From the Portuguese mussels to the swordfish, their seafood is a favorite among the waitstaff, and if you can't trust the man pouring you specialty vodkas, whom can you trust? Wednesday nights speak for themselves with a dashing Frank Sinatra impersonator, and the weekends are bumping. For the Faneuil Hall area, Red Sky is a breath of fresh air.
