Voted "Best Comedy Club in the Country" by USA Today and "Boston's Best Comedy Club" by the Improper Bostonian, the Comedy Connection is Boston's premier venue when it comes to top-notch stand-up. Regular appearances by Frank Santos, "the R-rated hypnotist," local morning DJ Steve Sweeney, Paul Nardizzi from NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," as well as superstar national acts mean you?re always guaranteed a good time. This Faneuil Hall staple, however, does have its plusses and minuses. Be sure to get there early for prime seating or reserve one in advance and if you show up late and you're stuck in the nosebleed section. Even once you're seated, getting a drink as you're wedged in like sardines can be a tricky (and expensive) proposition. With ticket prices between $12 and $30 and a somewhat overpriced drink selection, a lame act on stage can easily make for a tough night out. Thankfully, the comedians that blow through this place usually have their game face on. This is the place where the greats came to sow their oats: Chris Rock, Dane Cook, Pauly Shore, Rosie O'Donnell, Dennis Miller, Margaret Cho, Jon Stewart, Damon Wayans, George Lopez, Cedric the Entertainer - the list goes on for miles and the greats have a habit of swinging back here to pay their respects, so the price tag and the cramped corners always seem worth it.

halarious!!!
By xkatex36 on 07/08/2007
From the reviews that I read, i wasn't expecting much. I was expecting a cramped area that was terribly hot. My expierience was nothing like that. The comic had everyone laughing their a-- off and the place was not cramped at all. Yes, the waiters were a bit pushy, but that is their job and didnt ruin my night. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good night!

Good For Comedy fans

To all those who give ones, you are dumb. I went durring a pack show to see Jim Norton and, while it is a bit cramped, the atmosphere is very intimate and just a great time. You can't downrate because the comic was mean, don't be ignorant. If you are an actual fan of comedy, i recoment this club highly. The comics are great, and the venue is fierce. Highly recomended

Horrible Time, Wasted Night
By lisa2a2a on 03/11/2007
The small Comedy Connection that was at the Charles Playhouse years ago won the USA award. The new one is to Big, to loud, to expensive and not that funny. Not for me and my friends

Rude and Vulgar Show & Service
By thestevesweeney on 02/17/2007
The attitude at this place was rude and the show was worst. What a tourist trap and way over priced. I will never go back. No Fun at All
