Farnhams J & T's Seafood   

I've lived in Essex since 1960 and know every seafood place in the area. Farnham's is just excellent all the time. Don't need to go anywhere else. Set in front of the best view in Essex of the coastal marsh, you can enjoy inside or out. The fried seafood is the lightest, oil-free you can get. The chowders are amazing, the scallops in the seafood chowder are done just right, not chewy. Fries and onion rings are perfect and plentiful. We usually get one meal with them and one box of other seafood, and share the fries and rings. My favorite is a box of fried oysters, you won't find them anywhere else close to these. The tartar sauce, ketchup and water are self serve, all you want. Check out the specials board for some rare treats like Halibut or Cod Cheeks.
