BIGGEST MARTINI
By joetoetag on 01/18/2007
The name Martini has become an all-encompassing appellation. Stretched to include a rainbow assortment of liqueurs, mixers, spirits and garnishes, it blankets the cocktail category –– when oftentimes the concoction is simply a drink in a specialized glass. This is not likely to change, so marketing Martinis has become something every bartender, must do daily and the florentine Cafe has it mastered try them all.

The best Chicken Deavila & salads for lunch. With a nice BIG glass of Red wine Bon Appétit. The waitstaff is also excellent.

Professional Manager
By msdos1995 on 01/13/2007
I dined at your fantastic Restaurant on January 06, 2007, the day was nice and warm to. The windows were all open. In witch is unheard of in New Enlgand. The Restaurant was very busy (Packed), during my stay @ the Florentine Cafe. I noticed a Manager running around busing tables & setting tables, placing glasses in the washing machine even expoing food to the Bartender Lisa, also fetching ice to keep ice in the bar from getting to low during my 3 hour stay @ the Florentine also seating & welcoming patrons who came in the front door. This Gentelman never broke a sweat and mantained a Professional Calm, or seasoned demeanor Without Losing It. I'ts very rare in the Norh End or this restaurant (Florentine Cafe) to see a Manager in tight restaurant not to be overwelemed ( LOSING IT) in this situation. When my stay was complete I asked one of your employees who the Managers name was, one of the emloyees said he is the "Assistant General Manager Paul Ruggiero". I will be back again. Good job Paul, keep up the suburb service. Bravo!!!!!!

best place in town
By anymoresunshine on 01/08/2007
I have to say being from Boston this is a GREAT place to go for local people and people visiting the city. The service is excellent. The bartenders are local people and are very friendly. Anyone that has be there more then once has been there more then twice it is a must go to and a must go back to place. I love it!!! Food, drinks, friends, or just good times and the best and biggest martinis in town with lots of smiles and great views for people walking bye in a nice small neighborhood that everyone loves. The memories last forever.
