Giacomo's Restaurant   

Giacomo's is a great Italian restaurant in the "Little Italy" of Boston. Hanover Street is filled with many restaurants, shops, and cafe's - so one has their fill of choices. Giacomo's is very small inside, probably one holding about 40 people at one time. Get there early and be ready to wait, as a line forms outside waiting for the next available table. It is definitely worth the wait though. Food is, simply put, excellent. Mussels were the best they ever had. Sauce was unbelievably good. Great service, very attentative. We had a group of 11 people and our bill was only $260 - including two bottles of wine! !

The north end is filled with great italian food, but no one does it better than giacomo's. Do miss it if you are in Boston even only for one night. The fried mozzarella melts in your mouth and their red sauce is the best i have ever tasted. Try the garlic cream sauce or the tomato cream sauce - good over any entree!

We go here at least twice a year. Waiting in line is part of the fun! Buy a bottle of wine at the store next door and enjoy the wait even more. You will not be hassled by anyone.No fine food in Boston!!!!!!!!!
