Ah, Hampton Beach. Ocean breezes, sunsets, video games, tattoo parlors, beer, string bikinis and rock 'n' roll. There's something for everyone here, and when it comes to live music, the Casino (which is a misnomer, as there's no gambling anywhere near this place) is the only game in town. Many of the artists who play here are of the graying or balding variety -- but it's not unusual for younger acts to crank up the amps, either. While seating is primarily general admittance, those in the know drop $150 each season for the ''Insider's Club,'' which gets them first dibs on tickets and the right to cut in line on the night of the show. There are even ''skybox'' seats for high-rollers, complete with private bathrooms, food & beverage service and security guards. While other large venues in the Boston and Manchester areas might bring in bigger names, bigger crowds and higher prices, the Casino's loyal customers, and those who brave Hampton's icy waters each summer, keep coming back year after year.
