Jake Ivory's is a piano bar with a twist -- a severe twist. This isn't the smoky lounge where your grandfather used to sip Manhattans while dreaming of the good ole days. Not even close. Jake Ivory's is an all-out jamming, jumping, live-action jukebox. And the crowd is as big a part of the entertainment as the musicians. Picture a scene from the 'Three Musketeers' but replace the duelists' swords with pianos, stick the fighters in a Lansdowne Street bar, paint the walls with tropical murals and change the crowd from disgruntled peasants into buzzed Bostonians. At Jake Ivory's, piano players shoot from the hip, trade licks back and forth and play every note with the enthusiasm of an 8-year-old on his first visit to Disneyland. The crowd cannot help but be incited to a state of party-fervor. Ready? If so, make a request list and get there early. Reservations are a good idea, and are accepted online (which will earn you a discount). Casual dress is acceptable.

This place is really cool, I just went last night for the first time and I had a blast. I hear it just moved to its new location which is great. Relaxed, classy and fun. Alot of good looking women there too!!

By far one of the best places to go out and party! Do not go to Jake's if you don't want to have a good time, have a few drinks and party/scream/sing along to all the best music! Good place to hang with the buds after a Red Sox game or anytime. I always take friends to Jake's and they all love it! Busy place even when Sox are not playing. Have a few beers, sing/yell/scream your face off and have an all around good time place. No need to go bar hopping, first and last stop.

The best night out I have ever had. The atmosphere is wild. Whenever Im in Boston this is the place I go. And leaving in the UK it's worth the flight.
