Limelight Stage & Studios   

i went out w/ a group of girls to Limelight last weekend, and we had a blast! i usually don't write reviews, but we had so much fun that we agreed we should! we made a reservation for the private studio room and ended up staying an hour later than we thought we would! we ordered random apps and all were fairly good - nothing fancy, but good bar food. they have fun names for their cocktails, and the place is pretty cool - you can control the lights and music from your own computer in the rooms, and if you are shy, you don't have to sing in front of anyone else. i could see how someone might enjoy the big stage area though, as there were quite a few ppl in there. in any event, we will totally be back - great girls night out spot!

Was trying to think of something different to do for my birhtday this year and when a buddy of mine suggested karaoke I thought it was a bad joke. In the end, I booked some tables and hoped for the best. I didn't expect half my friends were secretly rock stars. Maybe we just drank too much but everyone was great and had a fun time. Finally a party that didn't blend in with these others.

went in for a contest and even though I lost :( I'm glad I found this spot. my cheering section got trashed and ended up singing more than I did. I'll be back again next time to make a CD in a studio room.

I came to Limelight after work with a group of colleagues, and we ended up staying way later than we planned! we had such a fabulous time - half of us love karaoke, the other half doesn't - but everyone had a blast! we rented a studio ahead of time so they waived our cover charge. we had drinks and food in the studio for a couple hours, then we went out on to the main stage and stayed until closing time! SO FUN! will definitely go back soon.
