Marriot has taken a building that is nearly a century-and-a-half old and turned it into one of Boston's best chain hotels. The architecture is pure Bostonian, and Marriot has taken pains to maintain the historic significance of the Custom House's legacy on the inside as well. It is a full-service hotel with all the modern amenities you look for but with the historic atmosphere that many Boston travelers seek. The location of the Custom House is prime for Boston sight seeing or business travel, too. It is within walking distance of Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, two of the nation's most visited tourist attractions.
