Pro DJs take control of the booth and besieges the crowd with bombastic mixes that incorporate everything that is, was and will be great in house and dance music. With the renowned RoxyPlex house music driving the night along, The Matrix throws in disco, retro and mainstream mixes that get the crowd cheering. Above the spacious dance floor, a host of laser lights flash across the room, and along with the rest of the professionally produced light show, create a nightclub scene rivaled by few in Boston. With Kiss108 in the house, hosting the event, you know the fun will be going on all night long. The Matrix's decor is 21st-century modern with greens and browns that evoke a hip South Beach feel. Whether you are on the dance floor or mingling around the bar, the club's ambiance and trendy crowd blend together well. If this all sounds enticing -- it is; the club often has to close its doors to the public early because it reaches maximum capacity. If you arrive any later than 10pm, chances are you'll be waiting a long time or may not even get in. But worry not; If the Matrix is full, there are lots of other options upstairs at the RoxyPlex.
