Wretched Experience
I and my friend went into Cafe Vittoria the other night, I was to have a latte and my friend was to have a beer and a cigar. My friend purchased his cigar and we headed downstairs when this old guy approached us and said we couldn't just have coffee downstairs. We proceeded to tell him that while I was going to have coffee; my friend was to have a drink and the cigar he just purchased but this misguided fool keep giving us a hard time to which I said to my friend, letâs just go upstairs. As we got to the upper level we were then told to just leave and after being treated like this, for what I can say there was no apparent reason, we left. Finally having gotten no more than 5 steps away from the place, the crusty old loser from the basement comes up from behind my friend and cheap shots him to the back of the head with 4 other guys standing around him. At this point I am just blown away at the whole chain of events, luckily this guy was so pathetically weak that it had no affect on my friend but the scene was unreal. Being fairly accomplished in the martial arts I could have easily defend us but decided cooler heads should prevail and just kept walking but feeling very embarrassed at what just took place on a rather crowded steet. This piece of garbage has no business running a public establishment and I would recommend that everyone avoid a place that is run by a man like this, he does not deserve your patronage.
Caffe Americano
We make a bee line for this caffe every time we are in town. The Americano is our favorite and its a great place to sit enjoy coffee and people watch
Great place!
This is a true Italian place, they have the best coffe in boston!
Real Coffee
First of all Caffe Victoria is one of the worst coffee shops in the North End, it is a tourist trap that has been around for years and made a name for themseleves and that is all. Only a true Italian knows a true Espresso not a watered down one. So will some REAL Italians please stand up, people who know what they are talking about.
