Chuck's Steak House Inc   

Chucks Steak House started as a family style moderate price restauraunt decades ago. It now has gone much more upscale both in appearance and price. The food experience however is not justified. The "famous" salad bar is just average by todays standards. The beef while tasty was too tough to be thouroughly enjoyed. Side dishes were luke warm. Entree prices were premium.

cheese&onion enchiladas are excellent.the only thing I would add to the meal besides the rice&beans that are served, is some lettuce & tomato, for xtra taste & color. never been disappointed.

I've eaten there twice, because I thought the first time was so bad it must be a fluke. WELL, it wasn't. I'm from the south and adore Mexican food, but this stuff was horrible! I even got different things the two times I went-- I just can't describe how absolutely terrible the food was. The bar area has a fun atmosphere, it's a great place to hang out with friends, but avoid the restaurant. Chuck's is no great shakes, either. Thank goodness Outback opened in Auburn!!

Oustanding steak & baked haddock. very good salad & soup bar, but rarely changes kind of soup. marinated mushrooms a delight. prices somewhat high
