Foodies flock to this cozy, no-frills Italian trattoria in the heart of Boston?s North End, named ?Best Italian Restaurant? by Boston magazine. With just eight tables, Pomodoro is an intimate, romantic spot that?s earned an enduring reputation as a favorite among critics and regulars alike, thanks to its superb value, plus-size portions, flavorful sauces and casual atmosphere. Pomodoro likes to keep things simple, offering hearty portions of contemporary Italian dishes that let the local, fresh ingredients shine. Pomodoro?s fried calamari, served up with a rustic garlic plum tomato sauce, is a must-try, as are the seafood dishes. Another current favorite is Tiger shrimp tossed with linguini in a rustic, slow roasted tomato sauce.

one of the best meals ever

Haviig dined in quite a number of the finest resturants in the world. This is without a doubt a work class experiance second to none. The cod oreginatat was light and cooked to perfection. the wole trout served on a bed of cucus and stuffed with brockally rob, outstanding. We ordered an unusual antipasti to start and was also served two other apitsers we did not even order. the chef just wanted us to try something else. When finished and stuffed, we were asked about desert, but there was just no more room for anything. The waitress then came to the table with three very outragiously delishes deserts and said "just nibble" Bavo!!!!!

Felt like I was in Italy

I've been here twice and absolutely loved both experiences! I felt like I was sitting in a small restuarant in Florence. Their olive oil is authentic and the food delicious! A true Italian experience. :)

Unbeatable and Consistant

We have been going her for over 12 years and are amazed with their commitment to consistance and excellence. The no bathroom or dessert thing takes a while to get used to but the experience is enjoyable. Neb and Vita have done a great job!
