Tangierino is a Moroccan Chophouse & Tapas Bar which opened its doors in June of 2001. The menu offers Old World Cuisine which is a traditional Moroccan style of cooking using Tagines and cooking over low heat for two to three hours. The New World Cuisine is another part of the menu which is cuisine that uses more modern and advanced styles of cooking and features Internationally inspired Moroccan spices & flavors. The restaurant also offers a Chophouse Selection of Prime aged beef & lamb as well as a Tapas Menu available at the Moulay Bar. Our dining room offers a romantic & energetic atmosphere and features private sultan tents, several private dining spaces, an African Mahogany bar and is the pefect setting for a date, business dinner, family outing, or dinner with friends.

Snooty, Snobby, You've got to be Kidding

Went into the lounge for the first time two weeks ago Thursday night. Was with my mom and brother who were visiting from NY. We thought we would have a few bottles of wine and smoke. My mom and I sat down as the place was empty and no hostess came up to us when we walked in. My brother finished a cigar outside. After 5 mins., a woman came over and asked how many. She then turned tol the couple sitting at the table next to us, who seemed to be on a date and told them that they would have to move because we were a party of 4 and they were sitting at a table that could sit a party of 4. (By the way, did I mention that the place was practically empty?) The couple was nice, said okay, that they would take the check and just wanted to finish their bottle of wine. The server walked away. Not a minute later, another server came over to the couple and told them that they would have to move "RIGHT NOW". My mother and I looked at each other, grabbed our bags and walked out. It was horrible and rude, and well downright snobby.

I recently ate in the lounge for the first time. very tasty starters and apps. The service was good and the restaurant has a great ambiance. they have a 25 per person rule in the lounge so it can get costly. but overall i enjoyed it and will go back

I made a reservation on Opentable.com two weeks before our dining date. This was a birthday dinner for my husband. Our 3 daughters and his mother were joining us and we were really looking forward to it, especially since he requested Moroccan cuisine. The day of the reservation, I called in the morning to make sure of the dress code and to make sure that my 13 yr old would be allowed in (as they have belly dancing, so who knows). They assured me that she would be allowed in the restaurant and that dress was casual. I said, 'Okay, see you tonight." The woman replied, "Yes, thank you." At 3:10pm that afternoon, I received a call from the restaurant saying that they had to cancel our reservation as they were under construction. They thought they would be able to open, but they could not. I said, "You're waiting till NOW to tell me this? This is a birthday celebration. Our reservation has been confirmed online and even this morning." "Oh, yes I know. We're sorry." I replied, "Wow, thanks a lot for calling!" My daughters and I scrambled and made our own fabulous moroccan dinner. How would they not know the morning of our reservation, that they would be unable to servce dinner until 3 that afternoon? Pathetic. Then I received an email from Opentable thanking ME for cancelling my reservation!!!!!!!!!
