The Tuscan Grill has been the cornerstone of Waltham's "Restaurant Row" for 18 years. Tucked under the awnings of Moody Street, this small, cozy yet casual and upbeat restaurant has the rustic frescoed look of a trattoria in Florence. The cuisine is northern Italian with a menu that changes seasonally and dishes that are prepared using ingredients that are fresh and at their peak of flavor. The bar is warm and inviting with a small but extensive wine list, house infused grappas, cocktails and mixed drinks as well as seats where the full menu is served. A prime spot for "foodies" is the chef's table in front of the kitchen where you can watch our talented chefs preparing the night's offerings. So whether it's fava beans in the spring, corn and tomatoes in the summer or truffles in the fall, Tuscan Grill embodies the old Italian proverb "L'amore per la buona tavola e amore per la vita"... a passion for food is a passion for life. We hope you will join us and look forward to serving you!

I am in area frquently visiting my daughter in school, and wanted to find a local place offering good food at a relaxed pace with good wines.I am glad to say I found it here.My wife and I have plans to go back again real soon. The night we went we had the specials and were not disappointed. Recommend this place for those who are looking for a nice dining experience.

Went last night with wife and daughters for birthday. This place has lost it and it's a shame. From the impersonal attitude of the hostess right through to our server, it was a totally disinterested experience. Lots of chat among the waitstaff with each other but little to no excitement with clients as far as we could determine. Waiter brought wrong drink, very slow on responsiveness to our requests in general. 3 out of 4 entrees arrived at one time; the 4th about 4 minutes later. Had to ask for pepper as the waiter stood looking at our food once served. Overall, a forgetable experience and a forgetable restaurant in our book. Too many other fine dining choices to go back to this place. It has more than lost it's edge - it's lost the knack of serving customers.
