You can walk into just about any of Brownsville's casual Mexican eateries and leave with a tasty and inexpensive comida under your belt, but how many of these places will satisfy an early-morning craving for tamales and tequila? Mi Pueblito serves an authentic Mexican breakfast from 7am to 11am, and their selection of almost 200 tequilas is available morning, noon and night. The menu is standard regional fare and includes an extensive cigar list in the back. Sure, the place can get smoky at times, but you'll be too busy sipping your margarita to care.

favorite for visitors
This is our favorite place to take out-of-town guests when they visit with us. There is something for everyone! Beef, chicken abd even our vegitarian friends have asked to retun here. We LOVE it!!!

MI PUEBLITO RESTAURANT IS GREAT! IT HAS EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE. THE PRICE IS VERY REASONABLE ESPECIALLY FOR THE FOOD AND SERVICE THAT YOU GET. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE!
