One of the biggest bars on the always popular Chippewa strip, Big Shotz is a kingpin of the area. Once a more reserved bar and nightclub, Big Shotz has let go of all of its previous inhibitions and let its flamboyant party attitude fly. Although it is open almost every night of the week, it is between Thursday and Saturday nights that the place truly ignites. Whether there is a DJ or a band playing, the music is always diverse, ranging from rock to folk and swing to funk. Thanks to such a party atmosphere, it's almost impossible to move and even more difficult to get a drink. Still, there is a reason why so many people choose to go there every weekend. -- William Nehill

High cover charge for a bar like every other on Chippewa. I never heard of a band going there and I don't know where you would fit one in that cramped little bar. Music is not as diverse as said above its 90% dance music.
