the atmosphere is cold, snobby, and uncomfortable in there! the problem is that they have no right to be that way considering the fact that half the dancers smell like sex, and can't seem to get their hands in your wallet fast enough. then theres the overwhelming stink of cigarette smoke which stays on you when you leave-which i suppose is just great if you like that sort of thing. it's no wonder nobody acts friendly or happy in this club....including the bartenders. they wait on you only when 'they feel like doing you the favor.'

i've frequented this place over the years, even when jimmy dimarco owned it. it has been remodeled greatly since then. while it looks much better, its not as friendly as it once was. if you like a bigger 'club' type place it's good...with lots of lights and the d/j presence. i think they have a signifigant amount of girls but it's really strictly go for the cash, not welcoming like some other bars are....which i suppose is the basic idea behind that business, but there are other similar places that provide both. it's pretty smoky too.

Just to much smoke. Smells gross when you leave.It stays on your clothes. Not every one wants to suffer.

been going there for 4 years now. Have seen a great improvement of the girls. The place has been remodeled over the last year. The Colonie is a cigar bar in addition and that means not only can you smoke you can enjoy the girls too.
