A pillar of the downtown music scene, The Tralf has played host to some of the biggest names in jazz, blues and rock. Acoustically, it's far superior to the other clubs lining Main Street and provides a far more intimate musical experience. Even cover bands that grace the stage are often dead ringers and worth checking out. The Tralf also plays host to several music festivals, including the ever-growing Guitar Festival. Ticket prices are reasonable, but expect to pay more if the words "Grammy nominee" precede the act. The bar at The Tralf is a great place to hang out before, during and after the show, with a huge selection of draft beer and top-shelf liquor. Occasionally, you'll even get to hang out with the band. -- Kara Sweet

2006 reviews?/what happened?
By lyne802 on 03/27/2007
I have not been to the Tralf for quite sometime.I did attend a benefit for a young girl. There was a local band ,spoken word/poetry.and drinks.1999-2000? I see the last review was 2005. What happen to the reviews for 2006? Does anyone remember when the Tralf was located on Main street off of Fillmore Avenue? It was a "basement bar & grill." On the block of the old Stuff Mushrooms and Avenue Pizza.Again,I have not attended any events recently.I would like to get some feedback on ratings for 2006-07. Peace Lyne
