Underground Nightclub   

Though not touted as such,it is a strong and vibrant political force for the Gay, Lesbian and Transgendered Community in bringing us together over the issues that face it. It promotes by its actions in the disrubution of free condoms , safe sexual practices that benifit us as a community without being preachy or self important. I hope that as Gay Men we can look past our petty and sometime shallow expectations of each other and recognize what truly strong and quiet leadership that The Underground has shown in its outreaches to those whom it has served since it's inception in the early early 90's . While none of us are perfect I hope that we as gay men will will continue to support it with our patronage and give credit to where credit is due.

Me and my friends have always felt comfortable and welcomed there a place to hang out shoot darts play pool and gather to well shoot the breeze. Lately it seems that the bar has been over run with drag queens that are well rude and well nasty and it seems there is always some kind of confrontation between one of them and another customer. If this kind of atmosphere con't we will hve to frequent another bar. Let's face it if we wanted drag we wld go to marcellas.
