I've known La Nova all my life. The first slice of pizza and the first chicken wing I ever had was from La Nova. When I was younger and living right around the corner from La Nova on Winter Street, I'd get food from there all the time. It was the best. I go back now and I see the clientel and the workers and the manor in which the food is displayed and it's such a disappointment. Yes, their food is still good - but it has definately declined in quality, and the prices have continued to rise. I rate La Nova with 3 stars becuase of it's history, and becuase it is such a staple in the community.

When I was at Buff State in the early 90's, La Novas was the best pizza and wings around. I know pizza-i grew up in NYC. Recently I went to both the location on the west side and on main st and was very dissapointed in the quality of the pizza which was overdone and bland and pricey. I believe that La Novas is riding on the coat tails of past glory and needs to redirect itself. I personally don't see the need to ride down to city for pizza anymore.
