This mini-chain of Mexican restaurants (there are locations in New Hampshire and Maine) boasts a huge menu and a festive environment. One look at the menu and you know you're going to have fun. Choose from more than a half dozen margaritas and daiquiris including raspberry, melon and peach. Then move on to nachos (available five different ways), Mexican bar food (potato skins topped with chili and cheese or deep-fried jalapeno peppers stuffed with cheese) or salads. House specialties include grilled chicken with jalapeno butter and Jamaican jerk chicken or steak. Fajitas, chimichangas, quesadillas, burritos, tacos, enchiladas, rellenos, tostadas -- if it's Mexican, it's here. There's even a "Gringo Corner" for those wary souls who prefer a burger or steak. Best of all, there's a glossary at the back of the menu for the Mexican-impaired. Prices vary, from $1.50 for a corndog to $12.95 for Mexican surf and turf (marinated sirloin with a crabmeat enchilada or grilled shrimp skewer). - - K.F. Murphy
