Just what exactly is served up here at this cozy, romantic and ever-popular Bay Street American? Get ready for "food, glorious food." And we're not just talking about the succulent steaks. Owner-chef Robert Dickson has a feast in store for all of the senses, and he begins by bursting into song -- an a cappella appetizer, followed by a Broadway medley to go with a seafood medley, if you will. And while the music gets your feet tapping, the food will do a number on your taste buds: Dishes like roasted breast of duckling with crimini mushroom risotto are typical fare on the prix fixe ($75 for five courses) menu. Reservations are essential (dinner starts promptly at 7:30pm) and the crowd is kept to a minimum so that Robert and his wife can work the room and get to know their guests. The wait staff (all of two people) is friendly and capable, ensuring that, no matter how tempted, you definitely won't have to sing for your supper.

Very good dinner

Lovely restaurant, and service, however for that amount of $$ there are several other restaurants that have a more romantic seating % atmosphere, along with good food. It was not individual tables, so a bit disappointed based on reviews we'd read.

We went during the Christmas season, it is not cheap, but it is good food and entertainment, I would go back again for sure!
