California Dreaming Restaurant   

The food at California Dreaming is excellent, if you go there make sure you get their crousants with honey, they are excellent. One trick to getting in sooner is to call ahead. This can cut your waiting time by at least 15 minutes. Their steak is fantastic and is very resonably priced. It can be a little noisy, but the two level setting helps to minimize that. For a romantic first date that won't break your wallet I'd recommend California Dreaming.

After a day at the beach we had a wonderful dinner and the view was as good as the food. YES! you must get the croissants. The prices are also very reasonable for the great service and menu selection that was provided. We plan on taking all our house guests there for dinner.

I have owned a beach home here in Charleston for the past 10 years. I was introduced to California Dreaming the first year here. Since that time, I try to go there whenever I come to Charleston. It is the place I recommend to friends and family, first and foremost! Might I recommend the fresh flounder or fresh shrimp with a loaded baked potato? To that add a wonderful house salad with the BEST blue cheese dressing around, with a complimentary honey-drizzled croissant! Enjoy the beautiful waterfront dining and magnificent view of Charleston Harbor.
