Tidewater Grill   

To the one that wants to call Tidewater the best restaurant in Charleston, you must not get out much in Charleston to stand by that. I have no issuses with Tidewater other then truth! Have you ever been in the kitchen to know it is clean? I am sure you have not and can't say that it is clean. And yeah sure send your food back to the kitchen if you don't like it, ever seen the movie "Waiting"? You might want to catch that one. I stand by and will always stand by my 1 VERY MUCH NASTY STAR! ;)

You've clearly got some issues with Tidewater Grill that stretch beyond the kitchen. If it's so bad, the Health Department would care for that. I think it's awful for you to say such horrible things about the place when clearly it isn't true. Sounds like your peer doesn't care for the mayor - what that has to do with ANYTHING is beyond me! Tidewater Grill is still the best restaurant in Charleston. The food is excellent, the place is clean, and if you can get past some of the rude people who dine there you'll have a great experience. Try the Parmesan Encrusted Sole for a delightful treat! The steaks are always delicious, and if your meal isn't prepared to your liking, send it back. They continue to try until they get it right. 5 VERY MUCH DESERVED STARS!!!

I must tell you that I have been in the kitchen of Tide Water. It is so nasty and dirty. I would never eat there again. The place is just not what it used to be. I remember years ago, like try 5 or 6 years, it was very clean, neat, and no bums worked there. Now I wouldn't even let my dog eat off the kitchen floors. I just can't believe people still eat there.

Why hasn't this been rated since 2004? It's not the place it use to be. Too many drugies and bums work there. They cater to people like the one and only Mr. Jones.
