Coyote Ugly   

First there was the NYC saloon where sexy female barkeeps in skimpy C&W duds danced suggestively on the bartop for an audience of salivating urban cowboys. Then there was the 2000 movie, in which a nubile young songwriter tried to make it in the big city while slinging suds with her braless sister-barkeeps. Now there are more than a dozen locations of the chain, and Charlotte is one of the lucky cities where you too can come watch pretty women in low-ride jeans pretend to ride a plush pony. If you can tear your eyes from the Coyote Ugly barkeeps, you'll find kitschy neon (Bud and Bud Light signage), a wooden bar, giant plastic bottles of Bud and other generic frat-boy accents in a saloon-style sports bar where bras hang from the ceiling. Most weeknights offer $2 and $3 drink specials.
