Basil's Restaurant   

Basil's is one of those small family diners that always packs a local crowd. Come on a Saturday morning and you'll find plenty of cars in the lot, and plenty more people in the restaurant enjoying tasty breakfasts. Expect all the classic a.m. grub with Southern-style twists. The rest of the day's offerings include Southern fare and Greek cuisine. Basil's serves basics such as veggie dishes, sandwiches, barbecued pork, beef, hot subs and souvlaki. Of course, you can't go to a Southern-style restaurant without getting some sweet tea with your meal, and Basil's offers sweet and very sweet tea. Most items are available for takeout.
