Take a chill pill and put on your legwarmers and jelly shoes! Breakfast Club is the total '80s experience. Fer shur, dude. Plant yourself on the dance floor and do the Cabbage Patch. Or make like the Running Man. At the Breakfast Club, you can regress into the music of Michael Jackson (a couple dozen surgeries ago). Prove girls still just wanna have fun. And listen to Survivor, without fear of getting voted off the island. From the Police to Madonna to MC Hammer, three floors of '80s tunes will take you back to an era of painted love. Wham! Sip drinks on the patio overlooking the Charlotte skyline, or make like Roger Rabbit. You'll find the dance floor full of jocks, princesses and brains who probably still have identity crises as big as Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald and Emilio Estevez. Want to get 'Back in the Highlife Again,' 'All Night Long'? Go toward the light -- the giant spotlights on top of the Breakfast Club that is.

So-so

The Breakfast Club was a lot smaller than I expected. Was very disappointed at first. There werent a lot of people there. Things got better after we were there for about 30 minutes. They started playing better songs and the dancefloor started filling up. This is the kind of place to bring your own group of friends. Small dance floor. The crowd seemed to be early 30s (most of us were in our 20s) but we had a lot of fun anyway! Loved rocking out to that 80s rock! Feel free to 'dress 80s' or to not dress 80s, you wont be out of place either way! Not a lot of overly drunk people, that was a plus! Safe place for a girls night out. Oh, and I had no problem getting them to play songs. I dont know the DJ...he was actually pretty good tho!

Good Time -- But one complant

We had a good time there last night and there was a good amount of people on the dance floor and upper level, but seems the DJ has his favorites. Don't ask for a request unless you know him. I asked for 2 different songs and was there till closing and he didn't play anyone of them. This other guy (friend of DJ i'm sure) to play a lame song and it got played. If you go you will have a great time but don't ask the DJ to play any tracks cause it most likely won't happen.
