There is no need to break the bank while staying in Uptown Charlotte, and the Days Inn offers a great compromise between location and price. At the north end of the main drag through Uptown, Tryon Street, several prominent venues are reachable on foot. Culture, nightlife, and eateries are all a leisurely stroll away. The rooms are what you would expect for a Days Inn, nothing fancy, but neat. This is not the place to stay if you want to spend a lot of time in your room, but it is a great alternative for the frugal traveler.
