La Paz Restaurante   

The Scene Located in a set of renovated warehouses and factories in the historic South End, La Paz has a distinctly urban look to it, though it manages to retain a sense of warmness. Curves and the color purple liven up the interior almost as much as the famously potent margaritas do the patrons. The Food The food, though a bit pricey for South of the Border items, will remind you that Mexican cuisine can actually be good. It's not as authentic as some of the places farther down South Boulevard, but you'll enjoy upscale versions of burritos, nachos and all the standards. La Paz is as much about the margarita and the atmosphere as it is about any of the food that comes with it.
