5 of my friends got food poisoning here while eating chicken in a number of dishes on 12/13/2008. I did not think anything could be worse than the ugly decor in this place, I was wrong, the food was worse. Just to clarify...5 people had to go the the Emergency Room within 24 hours of eating here. You can add this to the list of crappy mexican restaurants in Charlotte, like we don't have enough. I would put an asterisk next to this one though, for 'may kill you'. The Health Department has been notified of this.

No complaints on the food or the service from the waitstaff. On a recent visit what I had ordered is not what was served to me. That didnt matter so much, but the order brought to me was eggs which I am allergic to. They corrected this and brought me the right order. Upon checkout they expected me to pay for both meals. The manager indicated to me that someone had to pay it. I told her I would pay for both meals but that was ridiculous and that I would not return to be treated the same way. She indicated that that was good and I was not welcome. Ok, I am in the hospitality industry too, I never treated anyone this way. Beware if you order the wrong item, bring extra cash. Makes you wonder what happens when they drop something on the kitchen floor.....
