Everybody knows everybody -- come on out and they'll know you, too. The legendary local gay hangout, Liaisons, is the place to meet after work and before heading out to your favorite dance club. The big pink Victorian home was a SouthEnd staple long before the area was renovated into urban chic. The main floor offers two pool rooms and a full bar. Upstairs you can cruise the circular bar or look mysterious and attractive while lounging on the balcony overlooking Uptown.Pumping dance- music videos provide the soundtrack and the visuals to punctuate your night dishing the dirt with friends or trolling for new ones. Liaisons is known for its generous daily drink specials that skip the pretense and go easy on the wallet. Mondays through Wednesdays during the TV season, join the gang for 'American Idol' viewing parties. Thursday nights are sacred: It's the 'Will & Grace' night, when you can enjoy the witty repartee of the beautifully fashionable. Dinner is served by High Cotton Catering and is available Tuesday through Friday nights from 6-9PM.
