Our Take Southpark dining gets meaty and rare at the Charlotte location of a swank but comfy chain where red meat meets 42-inch plasma TVs, warm lighting and crisp white tablecloths. Sip a gin and tonic over a slab of New York strip - or skip the steaks for lobster, seared Ahi tuna or even a vegetarian grilled mushroom entre.

Pricey, but you get for you pay for.
I have been to many nice steak houses, but this is top notch. The decor in the downtown Charlotte house is gorgeous. The service is very impressive and everything was perfect. Longhorn, etc, can't even compare to this restaurant. I like to eat a nice steak in a place that has carpet, neat looking staff, no peanuts on the floor or stuffed dead animals on the wall. The steak was huge and cooked to perfection. I loved everything about it.

We have eaten at Ruth Chris's in different cities. The steaks are great and the vegetables are wonderful. Everything we have ever eaten at any of the Ruth Chris's was worth the price and the trip. In Greensboro, they make a black cherry martini that is out of this world.
