Beef & Bottle Restaurant   

before i was married i brought my fiancee, who was from rochester ny, to beef & bottle. he was overwhemed with the lobster, wine, server and the place. it is a restaurant of old bygone days and a breath of fresh air in a world of chains and over priced places. i will be bringing him back, next week, hirst trip for us since we married, he will be thrilled when he finds that is where i am taking him.

I'm from Rochester, NY but my daughter Kim, her husband Brent and my grandson Quentin have lived in Charlotte for almost 7 years. I am retired from an executive advertising agency position which required travel to more than a few locales that boasted great steak houses and a reputation for fine quisine, and I tried quite a few of them. However, when I visit Charlotte, I always suggest (request?) that we dine at B & B. The food and atmosphere, plus the general ambience without pretention, have never disappointed. Charlotte residents - rejoice in the B & B.

While the steaks are top notch at the Ranch House, you havent lived until you try their shrimp cocktail and have been waited on by some of the family or staff that have been at the restaurant since the doors opened (cant get that at any of the chain places!!!).
